My Prize

Here a few posts ago I wrote that I had won a giveaway from The South Dakota Cowgirls blog. Well I received my prize in the mail the other day and its awesome.

I received the journal that she published that is full of her wonderful photography and lots of pages for me to write down my thoughts, dreams, prayers, and lists.

The South Dakota Cowgirl also has a 2013 calendar, collection of note cards and Christmas cards for that feature her photography from around the ranch.   I've been following her blog for a long time now, and enjoy her writing, her photography and her jewelry.

I apologize for the photos below and they are just taken with my phone and don't do the journal justice.  My internet is down, again.  The day I have reliable internet service I am going to dance like noone is watching!

A little shopping for me!

As I mentioned earlier it's my 29th birthday (again) and I did some shopping for myself today!

I missed out on getting one of these last year, and I wasn't going to forget again this year.  So, I headed on over to The South Dakota Cowgirls blog and ordered myself up a 2013 calendar!

The South Dakota Cowgirl takes some pretty amazing photos around the ranch and throughout her life.  I only wish I was half as good at taking pictures!

I am quite excited to get this calendar in the mail when they become available.  And I am thinking I may order a couple more for some Christmas presents!

New Year, New Lots of Things

New Year; New Blog??  Well, not really new blog, but just a promise of doing better.
New Year; New Camera.  Yes, new camera and I still have lots to learn when it comes to using it to its full potential.
New Year; New Commitment.  Like I said above, Be A Better Blogger is one of my new years resolutions.  I have tons of ideas floating through my  head, I just have a hard time getting them onto the blog.  I am working on that.
New Year; New Challenges.  Challenging myself to do new things, try new things, on top of the regular old challenging things of ranching and farming.
New Year; New Pictures.  To kick off things off, here are some pictures I snapped last fall on shipping day. Enjoy
