I grew up on ranches in eastern Montana and southwestern North Dakota. When I married I ended up in northeastern Montana in the country where both my folks grew up. I feel very fortunate that I had a father that taught me me many things about ranching, cattle and horses, cooking, and how to enjoy life in the smallest things.
I feel fortunate to have married a farmer/rancher and have the opportunity to raise my daughters in the ranching and farming community. It makes me proud that at such a young age, my oldest daughter is already comprehending what we do and is so excited to help. She is constantly asking questions and soaking up information.
I love horses, ranching, roping, gardening, working outside and my dogs. I have started sewing again and canning a little. Every year my garden grows. My list of projects seems to grow and grow, with less time to get them done.
I am passionate about Agriculture and am trying to complete my MBA ( Masters of Beef Advocacy) online to help promote agriculture.
